I am a recent alum of the University of California, Berkeley (go bears). I studied computer science in the College of Letters and Sciences and also minored in public policy at the Goldman School.

I consider myself a man of many talents, including but not limited to:

- software engineering
- product management
- spending way too much money on boba

Bay Area Environmentally Aware Consulting Network

I wore many hats at BEACN, from consultant to project manager to vice president. I worked with the beyond coal campaign helping with analytics and data science. I've helped organize talks on transit!

Computer Science Undergraduate Association

Officer of the CSUA and former Outreach Co-Chair on the Exec Board. I joined this club very early my first semester, and I'm so glad I did. With the competition of CS clubs at cal, I'm glad CSUA is a bastion of inclusivity- it really made me feel part of the community.

Cal Transpo Engineering Competition Team

From freshman to senior year, I was a part of the ASCE transportation engineering competition team.
I worked mostly on models and operations even though I had zero civE or IEOR experience before joining. Happy to say in my time, we became the international champions!

Blend

I was a software engineering intern here summer 2019. I worked on Blend's moonshot blockchain project, finprint. It was incredibly rewarding working on such cutting edge technology. Had a blast with all the amazing people I met there (shoutout to my mentors Ken and Arjun). The best thing was, I felt like I was making a massive impact all while I was having all that fun.

QT Ultrasound

My first internship summer 2018! I learned so much about not only CS but the plight that women (and men!) have in managing their breast health and how QT is really revolutionizing that space. It also unknowingly got me thinking about user experience research as something I enjoy and am good at.

RISELab

I worked on the E-Mission platform under the great Randy Katz, supervised by PhD student K. Shankari to help move the needle forward on how we think about sustainable travel behavior and technology. This was my first foray into research so I'm forever grateful to Shankari for taking a clueless freshman in (me!) and taking time to mentor me.

Accel

I'm one of the 25 chosen to be a part of the 2020-2021 cohort of Accel Scholars! I'm really excited to engage more with the Venture Capital world, and learn more about startups in Silicon Valley. Really grateful to Amit Kumar for creating this amazing community, and I can't wait to get to know everyone in it better!

Watershed Climate

For a few weeks, I worked on Data Engineering at Watershed Climate, a startup dedicated to helping companies cut carbon. I was actually the first non-founder to work on the product full time! It was incredibly rewarding, though that meant the learning curve was incredibly steep. I'm no longer working on it, but I'm still really excited to watch it grow as tool in the fight against climate change.

Credit Karma

The summer after my senior year, I decided to give product management a try as an intern at Credit Karma. It was super rewarding to be trusted with the entire unauthenticated personal loan marketplace. It gave me a completely new perspective on tech, and I had a blast, especially given it was during covid.

Let's connect on Linkedin, so I can get to know you better. You probably don't want the details of my city planning background if you want to know more about my software experience anyway.
